Created in 2008, the contest Smile of the Year is a project that has taken place annually for the past 17 years. It was established by the Bulgarian branch of the international dental publisher – Dental Tribune.

2025 will mark the 18th edition of Smile of the Year Awards.

The competition is open to professionals working in different fields of dentistry, divided into different categories. The aim of the contest is to award the professional achievements of dentists and dental technicians, to provide them a worldwide recognition, as well as to draw the public’s attention to the quality work of some of the best practitioners in dental world.

THE CONTEST

The event will be promoted through a 9-month advertising campaign, starting in October 2024 and ending in October 2025. The results will be announced at a glamorous award ceremony, which will take place on May 16th 2025. More details to be announced.

We expect to welcome around 200 people at the ceremony (dentists and dental technicians, representatives of dental companies and the media). Winners will receive the emblematic Smile of the Year designer trophies, certificates, digital seals and a number of material and educational awards, provided by the partners of the event.
